Senior Strategy & Insights Analyst

Our client is a leading global CRM/Direct Marketing Network. They use Insights & Intelligence to build relationships between brands and customers.

The successful candidate will Deliver analytics services to the Strategic Services EMEA client base, you will be expected to:

  • Develop highly statistical techniques to analyse and provide reports showing clients the effectiveness of their investments and impact on customer behaviour
  • Review manual statistical tasks with a view to automating regular reporting
  • Help provide strategic input in regards to improvement on customer data warehouse
  • Use web-analytics tools to deliver insights and opportunities for improving customer engagement
  • Drive insights from key industry sectors by analysing the behaviour of customer segments
  • Build predictive models of customer behaviour and explain how they can be used to improve client KPIs
  • Gain insights from and manage large datasets
  • Assess the performance of marketing campaigns and their impact on the behaviour of customer segments
  • Extract insights from findings and construct a compelling narrative to turn insights into recommendations aligned to clients’ business needs
  • Develop a relationship with client services and technical teams including key client stakeholders providing insight on trends and identifying potential opportunities and threats.



  • Work closely with the Consultants and other Analysts on the delivery of analytics and modelling solutions including attendance at internal and external meetings as and when required
  • Run SAS code for Strategic Services projects
  • Work closely with the data management team at Conversant, as required, to ensure insight from client data can be used within their data management platform
  • Provide appropriate advice and support to the Account Management teams including attendance at internal and external meetings
  • Maintain an up to date analysis schedule of all tasks and milestones for analysis deliverables you have responsibility for, to be reviewed weekly and for any variance to be communicated to the Head of S+I EMEA at the earliest opportunity
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring all assigned projects are delivered to the client in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring all internal training documents specific to the role are complete and up-to-date


  • Solid experience which includes experience working in an analytical agency or client marketing environment, providing analysis to assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns and support marketing investment decisions
  • Experience with SAS and understanding of SAS programming and procedures
  • Experience in analysing email marketing data and web analytics tools
  • Experience in analysing transactional data (desirable)
  • Experimental design and multivariate testing experience
  • Experience in building regression models, and use of alternative modelling techniques, such as CHAID
  • Analytical skills to extract, interrogate, and analyse data
  • Ability to communicate statistical techniques to a non-technical audience
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills


BSc (Hons) in Statistics or in a quantitative field or related
